What StayXplus keeps, why, and who sees it.

Last changed 24 October 2026

What we keep

Your name, Gmail address and picture from Google sign-in, and your WhatsApp number.

Your hotel’s details and what your hotel puts in StayXplus: rooms and rates, bookings, guests’ names and mobile numbers, bills, payments and accounts, and guests’ ID photos when your staff take them.

For every change: who made it, from which device and when (History). At sign-up: the time you ticked the terms, the device, and a scrambled form of the network address.

Why

To run StayXplus for your hotel; to send the sign-up code, reminders, tax invoices and notices on WhatsApp and by mail; to keep History; and to help you when you ask.

Who sees it

The people your hotel adds, as far as their role allows. Business Plus, for help and for billing.

Razorpay, for online payments (StayXplus never sees card numbers). WhatsApp (Meta), for the messages we send. Google, for sign-in.

Nothing is sold and there are no advertisements.

How long

As long as your hotel uses StayXplus. Guests’ ID photos are removed by themselves one year after check-out. A bill’s link on WhatsApp stops after 90 days. A sign-up code works once; the code itself is never kept.

Your choices

Ask for a copy of your hotel’s data, or for it to be deleted, on WhatsApp or by mail. The owner can remove a staff member at any time, which signs them out at once.
